FIELD: reduction of release of NOx from furnace for heat treatment of raw materials where fuel may be burnt in at least three zones. SUBSTANCE: fuel in the amount of "c" is burnt in one zone and fuel in the amount of "b" is burnt in second zone; NO- containing waste gases from other at least two zones are fed to second zone. Fuel in the amount of "a" is burnt in their zone; part of raw materials is fed to these zpnes together with oxygen-containing gas. Total amount of fuel b+a burnt in second in last zones is determined taking into account necessity of treatment of raw materials. When furnace pant is used for production of cement clinker, heat treatment includes preliminary heating, calcination, clinkering and cooling of mineral raw materials. Fuel amounts "b" and "a" are adjusted before and after in direction of technological process till content of NO in waste gases is minimum. EFFECT: reduced release of NOx from furnace plant; possibility of using fuel at low activity of petroleum coke, anthracite and other coals at low content of gas. 10 cl, 3 dwg
