FIELD: equipment for rolling mills, namely rolling mill drive systems, particularly structures of Cardan joint assemblies of spindles. SUBSTANCE: torque is transferred from semicoupling 1 to semicoupling 2 through cross piece 5 by means of radial bearing assemblies 4. Radial efforts occurred in joint are sensed by means of thrust foots 7 and covers 10 along their spherical contact surfaces having lubricating grooves 8 and transition cone surface. Centers of contact surfaces are coincided with kinematical center of Cardan joint in O point. It allows to prevent occurring of additional axial and radial loads, to provide enhanced wear resistance, strength, loading capacity and increased useful life period of Cardan joint without increasing its diametrical size.
