FIELD: machine engineering, namely automatization of removing clamping member of clamping device by action of locking torque in attachments for milling-boring and drilling operations, possibly in automatic mode in numerical program control machine tools. SUBSTANCE: device may be used when it is necessary to automatically lock and unlock blank at working process and after such process in order to take blank off spindle of machine tool with the aid of limiting torque wrench. Shaped clamping device includes body with cylindrical cavity in which cylindrical clamping member with holder is mounted with possibility of axial motion. Compression spring placed in cavity of clamping member forces the last to fixed end stop of screw passing through central opening of clamping member. Threaded portion of screw is engaged with threaded hole of body. Screw has flange and head for wrench. Axial dimension between screw flange and end stop is more than height of clamping member by working gap value determined according to conditions providing effective operation of holder. Body has stoppers for limiting rotation angle of clamping member. EFFECT: improved design providing compactness of clamping device, increased rigidity and enhanced reliability of part clamping. 2 dwg
