METHOD AND INSTALLATION FOR PRODUCTION OF HUMINO-MINERAL CONCENTRATE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

Abstract RU 2175651 C1

FIELD: agricultural chemical goods. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to organomineral fertilizers, land-improvement agents, soil conditioners, sorbents, flocculants, coagulants, etc. Concentrate is obtained from initial aqueous suspension of humic acids prepared by alkaline extraction of naturally occurring humites and carbonate-series caustobiolithes, said suspension containing humic acid salts and fine humino-mineral particles and complexes (1.5 to 20% of the weight of humic acids). Humic acid salts are subjected to electrolysis to form humic acids on the anode surface and, simultaneously, fine humino-mineral particles and complexes are subjected to electrophoresis to form, on the same anode surface, humino-mineral substances, which, together with humic acid, represent desired product: humino-mineral concentrate. Indicated processes are carried out in a zone between cathode and anode under constant electrical and hydrodynamic conditions. In this case, aqueous suspension flow is uniformly distributed across the working surface of anode and one makes it move in direction opposite to the anode rotation direction. In the anode hollow, settling zones are created to suppress froth forming when electric current passes through aqueous suspension. Installation contains at least one couple of bathes with anodes flanking supply manifold communicating with bathes by means of overflows admitting initial aqueous suspension. Each bath is provided with drain reservoir disposed under desired product discharge device, while each anode is provided with froth-suppressing attachments and is mounted for rotation in direction opposite to direction of travel of initial aqueous suspension in bath. EFFECT: increased productivity of process and reduced power consumption. 10 cl, 7 dwg
