FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; devices for deoxidation and alloying of molten metal in ladle. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit has support for wire coil, guide pipe and feeder including bed frame, metering and pulling rollers with drive secured on pivoted levers fitted on either side of wire feed axle and connected with hold-down devices. Additional pulling rollers are secured on bed frame opposite pulling rollers in staggered order relative to wire feed axle. First pulling rollers (in way of feed) are kinematically linked with adjacent additional pulling rollers located in way of delivery of wire on similar side relative to its axis. Axle of attachment of each roller is located in way of wire feed on similar side relative to wire feed axis. EFFECT: improved quality of treatment of metal and enhanced stability of delivery of wire to ladle. 2 dwg
