FLEXIBLE CABLE UNWINDING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2134171 C1

FIELD: threadlike material rewinding equipment, may be used in the process of working or rewinding of wire, cable or rope. SUBSTANCE: unwinding device has frame, brake disk positioned on mounting shaft and contacting with brake shoe, deflecting and pressure roller, and is further provided with damping member positioned between frame and brake disk. Brake disk is positioned for axial displacement. Damping member is mounted for engagement with brake disk. Such construction allows changes in flywheel moment of rotating bodies of device to be correlated with changes in braking moment of rotating bodies. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
