FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of extracting platinum in the form of difficultly soluble salt such as ammonium chloroplatinate from solutions containing platinum, palladium and ennoble elements. Ammonium chloroplatinate is deposited by heating at 40-95 C with predetermined solution temperature maintained prior to deposition, during deposition and separation of the resulting phases by filtration. Claimed method makes it possible to use only circulating solutions as precipitator in first salt preparation stage, to avoid using commercial ammonium chloride and to intensify affinage process. EFFECT: more efficient extraction method. 3 cl, 3 ex, 6 tbl
