FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control device for a vehicle. Vehicle contains a block connection and disconnection, the actuator. Connection and disconnection unit is located in the power transfer circuit between the source of driving force and driving wheels and is configured to switch between the on state and the off state by means of actuators. Power transfer in the power transfer loop is performed in the on state and locked in the off state. Executive mechanism is controlled by the driver and serves to switch driving modes. Actuator serves to select one driving mode from a variety of driving modes. Modes of movement include the first and second modes. Modes of movement have different levels of driving characteristics. First driving mode has a higher level of driving characteristics than the second mode. Control device contains the electronic control unit. Electronic control unit is configured to control the actuators to perform the motion by inertia. Connection and disconnection unit is switched to the off state when a predetermined condition for the start of motion by inertia is established. Connection and disconnection unit also performs either inertia termination control or inertia non-motion control. Inertia termination control completes the inertia motion when the mode switching actuator is used to select the first mode.
