FIELD: devices for protecting from and suppressing noise and sound waves. SUBSTANCE: shield has framework 1 made of sections 2 and flat sections 10 fastened in vertical posts 8. Acoustic noise suppressing members made of various materials to suit different operating conditions are built in sections 2. Flat sections 10 have rear and front flat walls with clearance between them. Sections 2 have inclined plates 5 with caps and form slit traps between them. Sections 10 and 2 may be relatively arranged so as to form broken line. Layers of porous noise insulating material may be applied on inner surface of inclined face plates 5.
