PROTECTIVE SCREEN TO ABSORB ROAD NOISES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: building structures protecting against effects of noise and sound waves and for their suppression. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant to ensure normal acoustic conditions. Protective screen is intended for absorption of road noises and has frame structure, acoustic noise-absorbing element built into it, rear wall and front plates of zigzag profile placed in parallel with slit traps located between them and overlapped by gauze membrane from inside, on side of front plates, and columns with bearing members for fixing frame structure. Novelty of invention consists in fabrication of acoustic noise-absorbing element in the form of two membranes anchored on frame structure correspondingly on side of gauze membrane and on side of rear wall, large springy-flexible plate with holes coaxial to holes in membrane and small springy-flexible plate put on membrane from side of rear wall being arranged in central part of screen, on side of gauze membrane. Plates are fixed in relative position by means of spring-loaded linking bar member to form resonance chambers on side of gauze membrane and on side of rear wall narrowing over cross-section profile towards frame structure and intermediate resonance chamber located between them which cross-section profile narrows towards linking bar member. EFFECT: increased protection of residential and industrial complexes of corresponding infrastructure located along various heavy-traffic highways. 13 cl, 16 dwg
