FIELD: gas-conversion and petrochemical industry more particularly separation of straight and isomeric hydrocarbons. SUBSTANCE: butane fraction is separated by adsorption on synthetic zeolites such as straight CaA hydrocarbons followed by desorption thereof with hydrocarbon. CaA zeolite is zeolite containing at least 11 wt % of calcium oxide, and hydrocarbon for desorption purposes is methane fraction having temperature between 180 and 250 C. EFFECT: higher purity of the resulting n-butane and isobutane no need of regenerating periodically zeolite since n-butane desorption and zeolite regeneration processes and combined. 1 dwg, 2 tbl
