SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of derivatives of 3-amino-2-mercaptobenzoic acid of the formula (I) where X means fluorine atom; n = 0 or 1; Z means CO-A or CS-A₁; A means hydrogen, halogen atom, OR₁ or SR₂; A₁ means hydrogen atom or OR₁; R₁ and R₂ means unsubstituted or substituted hydrogen atom, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical with open chain containing 8 carbon atoms, not above. Method is carried out by interaction of compound of the formula (II) where T means hydrogen atom, C₁-C₆-alkyl, C₃-C₆-alkenyl, C₃-C₆- -alkynyl, C₃-C₆-cycloalkyl or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, benzyl or phenethyl with strong base in an aqueous medium. Invention describes also intermediate compounds of the formula (II) and method of their synthesis. Compounds of the formula (I) are used for synthesis of derivatives of benzothiazole eliciting microbiocide effect and ability to immunize plants.
