FIELD: building industry, automobile construction, chemical machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fireproofing swelling covers. Invention describes fireproofing polymeric composition for covers including epoxidiane resin ED-20, ammonium polyphosphate, carbamidoformaldehyde resin KF-G hardening with polyethylene polyamine. Composition has additionally product of dehydropolycondensation of chrome-containing phenanthrene in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: epoxidiane resin ED-20, 81.97-59.89; ammonium poly-phosphate, 4.098-23.95; carbamidoformaldehyde resin KF-G, 0.82-2.99; product of dehydropolycondensation of chrome-containing phenanthrene, 12.3-8.98. Invention provides increase of specific heat at temperatures heating above 523 K and coke density. EFFECT: enhanced fireproofing properties, improved quality of polymeric composition. 2 tbl
