FIELD: electric-arc plasma reactors for simultaneously making melt binders and sublimates of rare metals, possibly in cement making, metallurgical or chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: reactor includes cylindrical chamber, rod-shaped electrodes passing inside chamber through its upper cover; inlet openings for reagents in chamber crown and outlet openings for reagents in hearth; two electromagnetic windings embracing chamber and arranged one over another along height of chamber. Upper winding is connected with drive unit for moving it relative to longitudinal and cross sections of cylindrical housing of reactor chamber. There is additional duct between opening of hearth for discharging melt and lower winding; said duct is designed for discharging binder melt that is lighter than first one. Electrodes are hollow ones. Heat exchanging members braking falling down of raw material are mounted in cavities of electrodes.
