FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle powered by internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine fuel systems, particularly to adsorbers of fuel fumes entrapping system absorbing fuel fumes from fuel tank. Proposed adsorber has housing 1 with cover 2 and bottom 3. Two partitions 6 and 7 are arranged inside housing. Adsorbing material 8 is placed between partitions. Tube 12 passes from cover 2 to bottom 3. Space between lower partition and bottom forms condensate collecting chamber 10 being a truncated cone. Ring projection 11 pointed into chamber 10 is made on bottom 3 of housing 1 on plane of truncated cone top 4. widening 13 reaching bottom 3 and enclosing projection 11 is found on tube 12. At least one through port 14 is made on side surface upper edge of port 14 and widening 13 are located close to lower partition 7. To reduce hydraulic resistance to fuel and air flow in tube 12, area of port is made greater than or equal to area of flow section of tube 12, and partitions 6 and 7 are made of polymeric open-pore material. EFFECT: reduced toxicity. 3 cl, 6 dwg
