FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel systems of internal combustion engines, namely, to adsorbers of fuel evaporation control system absorbing fuel fumes from fuel tank. Proposed adsorber has hermetic housing consisting at least of two parts which accommodates adsorbing material. Three branch pipes are found on one of housing parts, namely fuel fume supply branch pipe fuel fume outlet branch pipe and branch pipe connecting inner space of adsorber with atmosphere and at least one reservoir (trap) for collecting liquid fuel (condensate). Fuel fume supply branch pipe is provided with passage restrictor made on horizontal section of branch pipe higher than horizontal axis. Said restrictor is made in additional insert fitted inside said branch pipe for free mounting and demounting. Axis of insert is parallel to axis of said branch pipe. Flats registering at mounting are made on mating parts of branch pipe and insert. Insert has at least one fixing element limiting its axial displacement inside fuel fume supply branch pipe so that part of insert projects beyond the limits of branch pipe.
EFFECT: improved reliability of adsorber.
