FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: adsorber of fuel vapours recovery system includes hollow housing in a form of horizontally located body filled with adsorbing substance and sealed by cover. At the blind end of the housing there are two condensate collectors with pipes for fuel vapours supply and discharge and pipe connecting housing cavity with atmosphere. The cavity of each condensate collector is connected to housing cavity either via two round holes or via one hole with through section of extended form made in blind end of housing at maximum possible distance from condensate collectors' bottom. Adsorbing substance is pressed in housing cavity by clamp plate that thrusts, at least, by one compression spring against the cover of housing open end. In housing cavity at a distance from its walls there is a closed wall with one open end face and second end face combined with housing blind end that is designed for increasing fuel-air flow route through carbon at outlet into the atmosphere.
EFFECT: improvement and maintenance at high level ecological indices of vehicle in the course of operation due to increase of efficiency of adsorbing and desorbing processes of fuel vapours in recovery system.
