FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: spectacles of diffraction type have rim and perforated screens whose transparent perforation is made in the form of randomly oriented intersecting narrow slits. One of narrow slit sizes is within 0.2-1.3 mm. Perforation may be made on nontransparent background, on partially transparent background. Perforation may be made through. Spectacles are equipped with glasses having perforated screens. Minimum space between narrow slit edges is 2 mm. Spectacles may be used for correcting, curing and sight reduction.
