FIELD: preparation of synthetic rubbers, more particularly butyl rubber used in petrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: process of copolymerization of monomers is carried out at total content of protonated complexes from 5 to 45 % in catalyst, ratio of content of protonated complex based on alkylaluminum dichloride to content of protonated complex based on alkyl aluminum chloride ranging from 0: 1 to 0.5:1.
