SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel injection system for internal combustion engine has high-pressure fuel accumulator into which fuel is fed by high-pressure fuel pump. High-pressure fuel accumulator is made in form of hollow sphere consisting of two drop-forged hollow hemispheres welded to each other. Fasteners formed at drop-forging are used to secured fuel accumulator in vehicle. EFFECT: reduced weight, improved compactness and optimum hydraulic characteristics of system. 3 cl, 3 dwg
