FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines. Proposed fuel injection system has high-pressure pump with plunger pairs, and valve nozzles. High-pressure pump provides delivery of fuel at high pressure into high-pressure fuel accumulator and further on to electronically-operated valve nozzles. At least first plunger pair is controlled by drive cams and control valve to provide synchronous in time delivery of fuel at high pressure and injection of fuel through valve nozzles. Second plunger pair is controlled by drive cam and control valve to provide its cutting in and cutting out at constant cyclic delivery of fuel at high pressure depending on operating [parameters, particularly, depending on pressure in high-pressure in high-pressure fuel accumulator. EFFECT: provision if simple and non-expensive system ensuring high injection pressure required by corresponding fuel injection systems. 7 cl, 5 dwg
