FIELD: communication. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to procedure setting up telephone connection in telephone system including several switching systems as well as to switching system operating in correspondence with given procedure. Procedure employs list of priorities according to which operator enters information on received call into waiting list if there is no free access to connection. Workload of connections is monitored and when it is determined that required connection is vacant this connection is reserved for use by operator. Information on ordered call in list of priorities is sent to operator. On receipt of this information operator can make call.
