FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for converting head energy generated at combustion of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons into mechanical energy of shaft rotation, both is stationary installations and in vehicles. Proposed engine has cylindrical housing with intake and exhaust ports, sector projections with guides and slots arranged in two ring spaces, rotor in holes of which are installed. Separating blades are secured rigidly and relatively perpendicularly on ends of axles in pairs for turning through 90 degrees in forward and reverse direction and freely passing in slots of projections. Shaft is installed also in engine housing. Area of cross- section and diameter of one ring space is smaller that those of other ring space and dimensions of blades of one ring space are smaller than those of other ring space. Outlet space of smaller ring space communicates with inlet space of larger ring space. Axles of separating blades are located in one plane. Axles are fitted in through radial holes of rotor and are separated from each other in point of intersection by means of elbow or U-shaped member. EFFECT: provision of compact, mobile, self-contained rotary engine. 6 dwg
