FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: coating formation process is performed on bearing aluminum-tin alloy layer, on which nickel film 0.5-1 mcm thick is preliminarily deposited by thermal dissociation of nickel tetracarbonyl vapors at temperature of insert 180-200 C and then, after heating of insert to 235-285 C, nickel-iron alloy is deposited by thermal dissociation of nickel tetracarbonyl and iron pentacarbonyl vapors. EFFECT: enabled formation of antifriction coatings with specified thickness and simplified technology. 4 cl, 1 tbl
