FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing needle at the point of intersection of line running along posterior boundary of the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the line running in parallel to cervical fold through the center of the cricoid cartilage. Anesthetic agent is injected from two sides. Then the needle is introduced 0.5 cm above the inferior edge of manubrium sterni on the median line in perpendicular to the skin until it touches trachea. Anesthetic agent is injected into pretracheal space. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of anesthesia. 2 cl
