FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices intended to control idle speed of automobile engines. Proposed device has valve mechanism installed in bypass channel of throttle valve housing and consisting of electric drive on rod of which valve is installed which closes the hole made in center of shutoff element closed under action of spring. Valve is made in form of cone changing into cylinder provided with slot to let air pass. When additional load is connected and slot at starting and warming up of engine, electric drive, by order of control unit, opens valve fully to overcome resistance of spring and open shutoff element to supply additional amount of air to engine through hole of bypass channel in throttle valve housing.
