FIELD: series of radiometric measurements with employment of Fourier-optics, applicable in air medium monitoring systems with the aid of radar aids, as well as in simulation of processes going on in air media in the presence of various heterogeneities exposed to radiation by electromagnetic waves. SUBSTANCE: before processing of radio signals the air medium of the volume under monitoring is ionized for production of the concentration gradient (density of charged particles (electrons) in the direction of action of outgoing pulses, as a result, regions with different electron densities in depth of the volume under monitoring are formed in the air medium, which have different critical frequencies that are used for location of these regions in depth (range) within the volume under monitoring. EFFECT: enhanced probability of acquisition of air targets in the air medium volume with the aid of radar aids. 1 dwg
