FIELD: object search theory.
SUBSTANCE: method includes, at the moment of beginning of sweep, observers, evenly positioned along edge of search district at distance R0 from its center, moving from periphery to center of search zone along spiral, determined in such a way, so that angle between observers movement vector and direction to zone center was value μi, determined from mathematical formula
where - relation of speeds of object and observers, n - number of observers, selected from relation dn - distance of guaranteed detection of object by observer, Ri - distance from observers to zone center, i=0...l,l - number of length, on which path along spiral to source point of search from center of zone is broken, determined by required precision of calculations.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
