SUBSTANCE: prior to identification of abnormalities they measure rated values of correlation function of probing radio signals and radio signals reflected from the sea surface simultaneously in millimetre and centimetre radar ranges of wavelengths, then they determine appropriate values of their product, afterwards they perform the procedure of comparison of produced product values in each space view, and by their lowest values they find coordinates of abnormalities, at the same time the sea surface is radiated simultaneously in millimetre and centimetre radar ranges, and to ensure synchronism and phase balance of radiation the appropriate antenna devices are installed on one platform so that mutual overlapping is provided between their directivity patterns in the process of space scanning.
EFFECT: increased validity of determination of sea surface abnormalities and possibility of assessment of surface wave parameters with the help of radar facilities.
