FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: power mechanism has housing drive mounted on housing and two reciprocating rods arranged on housing. Each rod is pivotally connected to link mechanism fixed to housing. Drive is equipped with one driving shaft and two driven shafts. Cranks with slot and locking surface are mounted on driven shafts. Carrier provided with two pins and locking surface is fixed to driving shaft. Carrier locking surface is positioned outside angular sector incorporating both pins. Each crank is connected through bar with respective link mechanism. Power mechanism is designed for apparatuses adapted for direct processing of starch-containing grain into ready-to-eat food (grain pieces). Power mechanism increases apparatus output by about two times. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 dwg
