FIELD: medicine, in particular, dental surgery. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has plastic casing with longitudinal breathing opening formed in casing mid portion. Casing is composed of three detachable parts and is sized and configured to conform with vestibule of nose. Casing top and bottom parts are connected by wire spring. Mid portion is formed so as to be withdrawn or inserted along guiding projections and slots arranged on contacting surfaces of mentioned parts. Except mid portion, casing maximum cross section is reducing to sizes of nose external foramen. Forming apparatus is used for preventing nose from deformation during postoperative period and is readily inserted and arranged in vestibule of nose due to exact coincidence of its sizes and shape with those of vestibule of nose.
