FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as seal of butt joints in automobiles, for instance, door sliding glass sealing member. Said sealing member consists of side walls connected by strap and provided with stop elements in extension of strap in each wall. Sealing strips are coupled with side walls. One edge of each sealing strip is secured on corresponding wall, and free narrowing edges are pointed to each other. Edge of each wall is provided with U-shaped lock whose open space faces corresponding stop element formed on the same wall. Strap is provided with longitudinal corrugation. Thickness of corrugation wall is smaller than thickness of strap. To improve engagement, each stop element is installed on corresponding wall with tilting towards the lock of this wall. Depending on height of channel walls in which sealing members is to be fitted, its side walls can be made of different size. In this case longer sealing strip and lock are coupled with higher wall. Strap can be coupled with wall, preferably, with higher wall, through longitudinal corrugation. As a rule, wave of corrugation is pointed inside sealing member. EFFECT: improved reliability of fixing of sealing member and simplified mounting of sealing member. 6 cl, 4 dwg
