FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for packing long-length materials wound in roll on periphery batching machine. Device has material feed mechanism, film feed mechanism and mechanism with welding blocks to form end face welds. Film feed mechanism is made in form of rocker-and-link mechanism with linear drive and unwinding device in form of wrapping material roll contacting through fixed roller with roll to be packed. Fixed roller in place of contact with roll along generating line is provided with thermocouple, and welding blocks are coupled with pneumatic cylinder and are furnished with packing material grip in form of blades. EFFECT: possibility of packing of material roll directly on equipment without disturbing roll forming process and with provision of required tightness of package. 2 dwg
