FIELD: petroleum chemical industry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves CATALYTIC dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons by passing reaction gaseous mixture through the catalyst layer at 400-800 C. Heat supply to endothermic reaction zone is carried out by filtration of dispersed solid heat-carrier heated to 400-800 C through stationary catalyst layer and filtration of reaction gaseous mixture and solid dispersed heat-carrier is performed in a single direction from top to bottom. In process any catalyst can be used that is able to carry out dehydrogenation reaction: Cr2O3-K(Na)-Al2O3, Pt-Sn/Al2O3, Pt-In/Al2O3, Pt-Sn-K/Al2O3, Pt-Sn/ZnAl2O4, Pt-In/ZnAl2O4, Fe2O3/K2O and others and process is performed at volume rate of gas = 200-1500 h-1. Catalyst is used in the form of rings, balls, granules, miniblocks, blocks of cellular structure with equivalent diameter above 4 mm.
