FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing mixture containing conjugates and cells into flat cell unit having focon which narrow facet is upper plane of the cell unit. The cell unit is exposed to ultraviolet radiation on its lower plane for measuring luminous conjugate coordinates on the broad focon plane corresponding to luminous conjugate coordinates in the cell unit. Image brightness is amplified on the broad focon plane for observing conjugate image and digitally processing this image. The conjugates are eliminated in focusing laser radiation with focon. Observing the luminescence of the remaining conjugates and their elimination is carried out until complete conjugate elimination is achieved. The device has flat cell unit having focon and optoelectronic device having dividing mirror, brightness amplifier, unit for recording luminous conjugate coordinates and laser radiation scanner unit. The device also has unit for eliminating conjugates having vidicon, memory unit and laser unit. EFFECT: high purity of cell monoculture; simplified design. 2 cl, 1 dwg
