SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for visualization of biological objects, in particular for biological studies of a single cell and various processes at the intracellular level. A method for assessing the state of a biocell by imaging it includes obtaining a conjugate of a biocell and cadmium sulfide nanoparticles by placing and holding a cell culture on a slide in an aqueous colloidal solution containing cadmium sulfide nanoparticles coated with a disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), extracting the slide, irradiating with ultraviolet radiation in the wavelength range 335-425 nm, registering fluorescence, obtaining microphotographs and their subsequent processing using standard programs, in this case, a colloidal aqueous solution is used with a concentration of cadmium sulfide nanoparticles coated with a disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid equal to 3.0-3.5 mM, while the ratio of cadmium sulfide (core) and disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (shell) is equal to, wt.%: cadmium sulfide 8.78 ÷ 8.92; disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid - 91.08 ÷ 91.22.
