FIELD: high-voltage engineering. SUBSTANCE: power transmission line has at least one wire, grounded supports, and support-mounted members insulating wire from ground (insulators). The latter are, essentially, bushing insulators made of flexible polymeric tube with wire passed through them. Bushing insulators for naked-wire lines are provided with external shielding layer applied to flexible polymeric tube and with metal sleeve for contacting the wire, semiconductor material layer being placed between metal sleeve and flexible polymeric tube. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of insulator attachment to support and wire, to insulator. 6 cl, 4 dwg
