FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a power line comprising supports, insulators, mechanically connected to supports and configured with ability to suspend wires thereto. At least one wire is designed to transmit high voltages, and at least one wire is made in the form of a lightning-proof cable. In parallel to the isolator and/or on the insulator, with which a lightning-proof cable is suspended, a long-spark and/or long-range multi-electrode discharger is installed.
EFFECT: clearing discharge arc, passing between the lightning-proof cable and the power lines reliance element, directly after the end of the lightning impulse of overvoltage when using a simpler and cheaper discharger than it is required to protect the wires under high voltage.
