FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: rawstock is treated with aqueous solution of enzyme preparation in presence of 3-8% (based on the weight of rawstock) of urea as dispersing organic compound. Rawstock is then frozen at temperature from -18 C to -45 C and unfrozen at 55- 65 C, after which it is aged during 48 to 72 h. EFFECT: improved quality of leather and reduced pollution of waste waters. 1 tbl, 5 ex
