FIELD: leather industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of treatment of leather made of poultry hides, for example, hens, goose, duck, turkey, ostrich and others and can be used in leather industry. Method involves soaking off in the presence of organic acid taken in the amount 1.5-3.0% of raw mass, fleshing, liming in calcium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide solution taken in the amount 0.8-1.5% of raw mass followed by decalcification, softening, defatting, pickling and tanning in consumption of chrome tanning agent 6-10% of raw mass. Method ensures to decrease time of treatment process by 3-fold and obtain elastic, strength, original leathers made of poultry hides. EFFECT: improved method of treatment. 1 tbl, 5 ex
