FIELD: turbine manufacture. SUBSTANCE: proposed housing of design version 1 has inner chamber with cooling-steam admission and hot-steam discharge holes that separates labyrinths of compartments incorporating annular projections of rotor and ridges of housing ring. Inner chamber accommodates circular partition placed between cooling-steam admission and hot-steam discharge holes. In addition, extreme annular projection of inner seal compartment rotor adjacent to chamber is located in chamber between inner compartment ring and partition. Housing of design version 2 has inner chamber with cooling-steam admission and hot-steam discharge holes that separates labyrinth compartments composed of annular projections of rotor and ridges of housing ring wherein hot steam discharge holes are located in chamber section where its diameter is greater than that of inner labyrinth compartment and cooling-steam admission holes are provided in chamber section whose diameter is smaller than that of inner labyrinth compartment. Proposed alternative design versions provide for reducing flowrate of cooling steam and for enhancing cooling effectiveness for end part of rotor and turbine casing without temperature fluctuations that may cause labyrinth wear and steam escape from seal.
