FIELD: manufacture of filtering materials for ultra- and microfiltration in medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnological, electronic, chemical and food-processing industries. SUBSTANCE: according to first version, polymer film is exposed to radiation by charged accelerated particles, treated by pickling reagent and washed; before treatment of exposed film by pickling reagent, by sodium or potassium hydroxide, for example at concentration no less than 30 mass-%, inhibiting layer is formed on one its surface by heating one surface of polymer film by infrared radiation; heating is effected by moving the film between rollers one of which was heated preliminarily heating may be also effected by treatment of one of film with plasma or low-energy electrons at energy not exceeding 0.1 Mev/amu. According to second version, polymer film is exposed to radiation by accelerated charge particles, treated by pickling reagent and washed; prior to treatment of film by pickling reagent, coat is applied to one its surface which is chemically inert to pickling reagent. After exposing film to radiation, it is additionally sensitized by ultra-violet light; before applying the coat, film is treated by pickling reagent to diameter of pores not exceeding 0.2 of larger diameter of pore of finished membrane.
