TAIL SPINDLE FLANGE-TO-BOGIE FRAME FASTENING UNIT Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: underground vehicles; design members of bogie tail spindle frames. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit has longitudinal box-shaped beam with rounded-off sections resting on spring-loaded flange of tail spindle through cover supports with holes for split connection with flange secured on box-shaped beam. Each cover support is made in form of section provided with side boss for threaded holes at one side and shaped groove for engagement with rounded-off section at other side. Tail spindle alignment bushing and shaped gasket arranged under flange flush with support surfaces of sections are located between sections on lower surface of beam. EFFECT: increased rigidly of box-shaped beam in zone of fastening of tail spindles. 2 cl, 2 dwg
