FIELD: technology of manufacture of radiation protective concrete, more particularly of metal concrete containers intended for storage and/or transportation of radioactive materials. SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparing concrete mix from fine or coarse filler made of scale and preparing the latter and separating into fractions of cement, superplasticizer and tempering water, placing concrete mix, packing and hardening thereof, maintaining temperature and time modes. Filler made of scale prepared and separated into fractions is enriched, then passivated and prepared concrete mix components are thereafter delivered into forced stirring concrete mixer in certain sequence, and the whole is stirred using time intervals, concrete mix setting retarder is fed into concrete mixer, prepared concrete mix is placed into structure and maintained at preset mode. During passivation operation, filler is mixed with water in washing unit, and filler made of scale and water ratio is maintained at 1:3 by weight, water is poured out and wet filler made of scale is placed into furnace in which it is dried at preset time mode to 800 C to constant weight. In feeding concrete mix components into concrete mixer, filler made of scale is first fed and stirring is thereafter carried out for 20-30 s % and 30 wt % of tempering water and 30 wt % of superplasticizer are then fed and mix is stirred for 20-30s and cement 50 wt % of tempering water and remaining weight of superplasticizer and concrete mix retainer are then fed, and mix is stirred for 40-60 s. remaining weight of tempering water is then fed and mix is stirred for 20-30 s, concrete mixer drum being loaded with concrete mix components to not greater than 60% of volume of drum.
