FIELD: industrial geophysics, running in and pulling out of down-hole logging instruments. SUBSTANCE: cable layer has mobile carriage with horizontal guide joined to screw shaft whose axis is coupled to drum of winch and mechanism changing direction of movement of carriage. Screw shaft is linked to drum of winch with the aid of crank mechanism with adjustable eccentricity of crank. Mechanism changing direction of movement of carriage comes in the form of reversible ratchet-and-pawl gear made fast to lead screw and linked by system of levers to parallelogram mechanism whose opposite parallel levers are fitted with adjustable rests interacting with mobile carriage. EFFECT: widened capabilities of change of parameters of cable laying by way of adjustment of width and spacing between turns of cable laid on drum with specified accuracy in logging cable layer. 1 dwg
