FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method on-coming air flow is sucked into hollow blades of propeller through central diffuser, air is compressed by centrifugal force and is expelled through nozzle. Air is sucked in through guard screen and controllable electromagnetic valve built into diffuser which is open at standard operating conditions of wind power plant to provided passage of air to jet nozzles. Part of compressed air is pressurefed through pipes built into blades and control valve into compressed gas container after filling of which control valve is closed. Starting of plant is effected by closing of diffuser valve and compressed air for starting is directed into tangentially arranged jet nozzles with opening of control valve. EFFECT: increased power output of wind power plant, possibility of its starting under load. 2 cl, 1 dwg
