FIELD: generation of heat; heating various technological equipment; power mechanical engineering; chemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: burner has body narrowing towards embrasure, gaseous fuel pipe line, side branch pipe for supply of blast air, circular air manifold, pipe located axially relative to burner which terminates near embrasure in end swirler and gas nozzle, gaseous fuel pipe line mounted inside circular air manifold; its outlet part forms blind circular passage whose length is equal to L/dp.l.= 0,2...2, where dp.l. is diameter of gas supply pipe line; inner walls of this passage have ports for blowing air from circular manifold; air duct with adjusting damper inside it is mounted along burner body on the outside; mounted on narrowing part of body is circular peripheral air manifold; inlet of this manifold is connected with circular air manifold by means of air duct and outlet is coupled with longitudinal peripheral air passage fitted with blades for spinning the air. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of preliminary mixing of gas and air; enhanced homogeneity of air mixture at air deficit relative to stoichiometry and reduced amount of NOX and CO. 4 cl, 3 dwg
