FIELD: view of the space, tracking and measurement of the coordinates of the observed object, as well as measurement of the range to it due to the use of the active-passive principle of operation. SUBSTANCE: the claimed guidance system is featured by introduction in the passive channel of an additional N-cell photodetector, which like the main N-cell photodetector, is installed in the focal plane of the objective lens of the passive channel. Besides, the system uses an additional spectrum- dividing cell and a plane scanning mirror. All this in the aggregate enhances the passing factor of the optical system in the active channel approximately by 25 to 30% without reducing the passing factor in the passive channel, and expands the range of the examined objects towards the less heated ones. EFFECT: expanded range of examined objects. 2 cl, 1 dwg
