FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermal direction finder has carrier base 1, with which through controlled magnetic supports 2 body 3 of 'floating' receiving joint 4 is connected. Joint 4 has optical system 5, emission linear receiver 6 and primary signals processing block 7. Optical axis 8 of optical system 5 is mounted at an angle to receiving joint 4 rotation axis 9. On body 3 coaxially to axis 9 there are toroidal armor core 10 of transformer with secondary winding 11 and emitter 12 of optical pair, and on base 1 of carrier, that has no mechanical contact with body 3, there are fixed core 13 with primary winding 14 and optical pair receiving part 15, connected with signal secondary processing block 16. Controlled magnetic supports 2 have magnet conducting ring 17 and group of concentrically located permanent magnets 18 with additional winding, that is electrically connected with control and stabilization block. Receiving joint 4 in body 3 is rotating around axis 9 due to sections 21 of asynchronous drive. EFFECT: increased accuracy of thermal direction finder operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
