FIELD: constructions of multilayer armored obstacles protecting against the effect of piercing-piercing bullets, applicable as armored plates of tanks, helicopters or other vehicles. SUBSTANCE: the multilayer armored obstacle has a backing of aluminum alloy, a layer of ceramic plates of aluminum oxide adjoining one another, and an outer facing. The thickness of the ceramic plates makes up 0.8 to 1.2 of the backing thickness, the backing is made of aluminum alloy with an ultimate strength of minimum 340 MPa, with an elongation at rupture of minimum 15% and hardness within 3.7 to 4.0 mm, and the ceramic plates are made of aluminum oxide with a density of 3.3 to 3.9 g/cu.cm. The ceramic plates are bound with the exterior facing, backing and one another in a layer in the points of adjoining of their ends with the aid of cement with a density of 1-2 g/cu.cm, the thickness of the cement layer between the ceramic plates does not exceed 0.5 mm, and that between these plates and the backing does not exceed 0.7 mm. The outer facing is made of two layers of fabric, for example, glass cloth. EFFECT: simplified construction and manufacturing methods, enhanced resistance to piercing-piercing bullets. 3 cl, 1 dwg
